For the first time, Machineseeker Group is the main sponsor and namesake of the Machineseeker European Championship 2023 in darts (European Darts Championship). Throughout the event, they will present themselves comprehensively with all their brands such as Maschinensucher, Machineseeker, Werktuigen, and TruckScout24.
From October 26th to 29th, 32 of the world’s top dart players will compete for the coveted European Darts Championship title in Dortmund, Germany. In the 16th edition of this tournament, Ross Smith will defend his title acquired in 2022. Former champions like Michael Van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Rob Cross, and James Wade will also strive to reclaim the prestigious title.
The current world champion, Michael Smith, the winner of the 2023 World Grand Prix, Luke Humphries, and the current fifth-ranked player in the world, Gerwyn Price, will also compete for the title in the Machineseeker European Championship in Dortmund.
The Machineseeker Group is making its first appearance as the main sponsor of a PDC event during the European Championship. Previously, the group supported the European Championship as a co-sponsor and served as the jersey sponsor for three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen.

At the Machineseeker European Championship, the top 32 players from the European Tour Order of Merit 2023 will compete for a prize fund of £500,000. The tournament will be available for live streaming in various countries and will be broadcast on various TV channels.
The opening rounds will take place on Thursday and Friday, with the last 16 players competing on Saturday. The highlight will be on Sunday, featuring the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the grand final for the 2023 Darts European Championship.
